Course Outline

Module 1 · Opening

Team Expedition Begins

Knowledge: Stranded on a deserted island surrounded by endless sea, with a rescue ship on the horizon — this is not just survival, but a team expedition of challenge and discovery.

Module 2 · Rules Introduction

Days 1–2: Earn the Consensus Medal

Simulation: Navigate from confusion on the island to clarity on how to reach the rescue ship. Debrief: Obtain sail or compass; earn the Consensus Medal. Knowledge: The foundation of teamwork is early goal consensus — vision alignment, values synergy, and execution path analysis.

Module 3 · Simulation Round 1

Days 3–10: Resource Orchestration

Simulation & Debrief: Execute the plan with compass or sail acquired; improve team success rates during execution. Knowledge: Effective resource orchestration in teamwork — analyze each role's strengths and weaknesses and team development value; make trade-offs to maximize combined force.

Module 4 · Simulation Round 2

Days 11–20: Five Team Elements

Simulation: Adjust strategy based on the first 10 days; actively pursue the True North Star. Debrief: Deep dive into each medal earned or missed — the key to building change-ready momentum. Knowledge: The five elements of excellent teams — consensus, trust, collaboration, execution, renewal. Explore how communication can improve when earning the Consensus Medal; how trust is built through understanding and protecting each other's weaknesses; how high-frequency information sync and complementary strengths drive collaboration; and how steadfast execution and continuous renewal keep teams resilient.

Module 5 · Simulation Round 3

Days 21–30: Earn the True North Star

Simulation: Collect all five medals and earn the True North Star. Final competition results announced.

Module 6 · Closing

True North in the Team

Review the five elements of excellent teams: consensus, trust, collaboration, execution, renewal. True North is not the rescue ship — it lives within the team. When all five elements are present, any storm can be weathered. Encourage every participant to become a contributor and architect of team growth.
